Leandro Mercado Joins Yamalube YART Yamaha for 2026

Leandro Mercado will join the YART – Yamaha Austria Racing Team for the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship, forming a strong lineup alongside Marvin Fritz and Karel Hanika.

The experienced Argentinian brings proven success from AMA Supersport, the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, WorldSBK, and recent standout performances in the EWC, including a Superstock victory at the 8 Hours of Spa. He replaces Jason O’Halloran, who played a key role in securing YART’s third world title in 2025.

With eyes firmly set on defending the championship, YART is looking forward to starting the 2026 season together and welcoming Leandro to the team as the campaign begins at the 24 Heures Motos in Le Mans.
